The main purpose of this position is to ensure accurate flow of inventory by receiving, stocking and shipping inventory accurately and in a timely manner. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and a commitment to quality assurance.
Warehouse/Distribution Duties and Responsibilities
- Physically receive shipments of product
- Package and ship outbound orders of product
- Confirm vendor packing slip matches to purchase order, report discrepancies to Customer Service
- Data entry:
- Record shipments in Microsoft Excel receiving log
- Receive purchase orders in ERP system
- Fill orders
- Enter work orders on website for processing by Laboratory Department
- Process necessary paperwork for shipments
- Shipping of product from the Laboratory Department
- Record shipments in Microsoft Excel shipping log
- Make samples of thermocouples to be processed in certification furnace
- Stock inventory
- Maintain and administer accuracy of physical product in Solon warehouse
- Assist Customer Service with restocking of inventory
- Make deliveries of client orders as requested
- Make deliveries for service technicians as requested
- Pick up vendor’s purchase orders as requested
- Maintain warehouse in neat and orderly condition
- Any other duties as management requests
