Director of Sales & Business Development 

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Sales & Business Development to drive revenue growth, lead high-value sales opportunities, and build scalable sales processes for our industrial furnace control systems, instrumentation, calibration services, and compliance solutions. We primarily serve aerospace, automotive, defense, metals, water treatment, and other precision-driven industries.

Primary job functions include leading outbound and strategic sales efforts, managing pipeline and forecasting in HubSpot, developing key client relationships, guiding the sales team, collaborating with engineering and service teams on complex solutions, and closing high-value opportunities while expanding long-term customer partnerships.

Director of Sales & Business Development Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic sales efforts, including outbound prospecting and key account expansion
  • Identify and close high-value opportunities across targeted industries
  • Manage and forecast sales pipeline within HubSpot CRM
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team
  • Collaborate with engineering, service, and marketing teams to develop solutions and proposals
  • Represent the company in executive-level client meetings and industry events
  • Build long-term relationships through consultative, solution-based selling

Director of Sales & Business Development Requirements and Qualifications

  • 8–15 years of B2B sales experience (industrial or technical sales preferred)
  • Proven success selling complex solutions and closing high-value deals
  • Experience leading or building sales teams and processes
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • CRM proficiency required (HubSpot preferred)
  • Technical aptitude or engineering background preferred
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
